Splash Host App (iOS)
Before you get started, familiarize yourself with the Splash Host app’s download, log in, and navigation instructions.
Register guests as a host
You can use the Splash Host app to capture information from guests who didn't register for your event but still showed up at the door.
To add a guest or a group of guests to your Guest List:
- Tap an event to open the Guests tab
- Tap the plus icon.
- Use the add and subtract icons to choose your number of guests.
- Tap Enter Guest Details. The first guest will be assigned as the main guest and additional guests will be assigned as plus ones.
- Input each guest’s first name, last name, and email.
- Tap Show Extra Questions to reveal other questions on the event's registration form.
- From the Register Guest with Status dropdown select Attending or Checked In.
- Tap Send confirmation email to trigger a confirmation email to all guests.
Note: You cannot sell tickets, or associate a guest with a ticket type, on the Splash Host app. You can only collect a guest’s first name, last name, and email. |
Self-service guest registration (Kiosk)
Splash Kiosk is self-serve check-in and registration for guests. Teams hosting a large event with limited on-site staff can benefit from creating a Kiosk station.
Warning: Connect your device to WiFi to launch your form with the styles set in your event’s Registration Form touchpoint. Without WiFi, your form will load with default Splash styles. |
Enable self-registration with Kiosk using these steps:
- Tap an event.
- Choose the Kiosk tab.
- Enable Allow Self Registration.
- Select Attending or Checked In from the Register Guest with Status dropdown.
- Tap Send confirmation email to trigger a confirmation email.
- Enable Require Passcode to Close Form to keep guests from leaving the registration form.
- Enter a four-digit passcode.
- Tap Launch Kiosk.
- Prop your device to create a self-service station.
Note: Splash Kiosk does not support file upload questions, which should be optional or removed before the event. You also cannot load a styled form for ticketed events. Splash Kiosk will only display first name, last name, and email inputs for ticketed events. |
Splash Host app (Android)
Before you get started, familiarize yourself with the Splash Host app’s download, log in, and navigation instructions.
