It's quick and easy to sign up for a Splash account and begin creating meaningful events.

This article walks through the steps for signing up, verifying your email address, and customizing your account profile.

Signing up

To sign up for a free Splash account:

Note: Only valid email addresses associated with company domain names are allowed to sign up for a free account.

1. Navigate to splashthat.com/signup or if you were invited to collaborate on an event, click the link in the email with subject "Your assistance is requested on [event name]."
2. Enter your first and last name.
3. Enter your email address.
4. Enter a password that's eight characters in length.
5. Click to accept Splash's terms and conditions.
6. Click Sign Up.
7. The last step is to verify your email address.

If your team has a paid Splash plan and you were invited to join, then you can proceed with signing up by:

1. Opening the email with subject line "Invitation to join [your team name]" from noreply@splashthat.com. 
2. Click the link to complete the sign up process.
3. Edit the first and last name if necessary.
4. Edit the email address if necessary.
5. Enter a password that's eight characters in length.
6. Click to accept Splash's terms and conditions.
7. Click Sign Up.
8. The last step is to verify your email address.

Verifying your email address

After signing up for a Splash account, the final step is to verify your email address.

Splash will send an email with the subject line "Verify your email address" from support@splashthat.com. This email includes a verification link that you need to click. 

This link will expire within 1 hour of receiving the email. Keep in mind you can request a new verification email by visiting splashthat.com/signup. 

Customizing your account profile

Once you verify your email address, you'll land in your account profile where you can update your information and settings.

From the Account Info tab:

• To upload a photo for your account, click Edit Avatar.
• To adjust your email notifications, click Email Notification Preferences.

From the Settings tab:

• Update your email address and password.
• Click Delete Account to remove your account.
