Adding Hyperlinks to Confirmation Messages Follow
Hyperlinks can be added to your confirmation messages for additional event resources, webinars, external sites, and more. This article will teach you how to add hyperlinks to the post-registration experience with no sign of a clunky URL.
There are a few different ways to include hyperlinks, depending on which confirmation messaging you're using.

Note: HTML and the RTE toolbar can be used in both email and on-page confirmation messaging. |
Hyperlinking text using the rich text editor (RTE) toolbar
If you aren't using the [confirmation_messaging] dynamic tag, any words within a text element can be hyperlinked.
- In the Confirmations touchpoint, click Design on the confirmation you want to edit.
- Highlight the text that you want hyperlinked.
- In the RTE toolbar, click the Link icon.
- Add the URL.
- Click Ok.

Here’s how to create hyperlinks using a simple bit of HTML within the [confirmation_messaging] dynamic tag.
- In the Confirmations touchpoint, click into the Message field.
- Add the HTML text: <a href="url">link text</a>.
- Replace “url” with the URL you want hyperlinked.
- Replace "link text" with the text you want hyperlinked.
- Click Save.
Hyperlinking text using the Link element in emails
Additionally, for emails only, there is a Link element that can be added.
- Click Design on the confirmation email.
- Click the plus sign to add a Link element.
- Update the text you want displayed in the email.
- Open the Link Settings tab to the right and update the URL field.
- Click Save.
Pro Tip: You can also change the color of the hyperlinks for both on-page and email confirmations. |
