Embedding a LinkedIn Live or Facebook Live stream into your Splash event page has never been easier. With an embed code and a Splash iframe element, you'll be on your way to hosting online webinars, live streams, and more in a matter of minutes.
Just remember that adding this custom iframe element will require that you have access to advanced design tools - or use a theme in which the iframe element is already added.

How-to video: Embedding a Live Stream
Check out the video walkthrough showing how to embed LinkedIn Live or Facebook Live directly into a Splash event page for your online events.
Create an iframe in Splash
With Designer Pro turned on, head to your Splash event page.
- Add an Empty Block.
- Add a Splash iframe element.
- Save.
To edit and resize an iframe already on your Splash event page.
- Hover over the iframe element on your page.
- Click on the iframe icon that appears at the top left corner of the element.
- Edit the width and height numbers as desired.
- Save.
Embed LinkedIn Live
Head over to your LinkedIn profile.
- Choose your LinkedIn livestream post from your thread.
- Click the Options icon (•••) and select Embed this post.
- Click the Copy Code button.
Return to your Splash event page.
- Click into the iframe element
- Remove the placeholder iframe code and replace it with your new LinkedIn embed code.
- Save.
Embed Facebook Live
There's a few more steps to embed Facebook Live so before getting started, open the following link as you'll need this in a moment: Facebook for Developers Embedded Video & Live Video Player.
Head over to your Facebook profile.
- Choose your Facebook livestream post from your thread.
- Click the gear icon in the livestream video player.
- Copy the Facebook Live URL.
- Follow the Step-by-Step instructions in Facebook for Developers Embedded Video & Live Video Player and copy the generated iframe code.
Return to your Splash event page.
- Click into the iframe element
- Remove the placeholder iframe code and replace it with your new Facebook embed code.
- Save.
Important Notes on Facebook Live:
- If you're looking to embed a video from a Facebook Group, the group must be Public. An embed code cannot be generated for videos in Private groups.
- The accounts profile picture and name will appear on the Facebook Live video that gets embedded your Splash page.
