Can I view UTM Parameters within my Guest List?

UTM Parameters are tags that can be added to your URL to track the source back to Google Analytics. Splash allows you to collect this information by simply adding a form question and sending out your invites with an updated URL.

With Form Builder, setting up UTM Parameters is as simple as adding a question to a form. That’s because adding UTM_Parameters as a question is all it takes.

  1. First let's head to your Form in order to add this question.
  2. Once there, add the UTM Parameter question and Select each "Source"Image_2020-02-11_at_9.43.40_AM.png
  3. Now, you'll be able to send your event page with a parameter for each UTM parameter you want to collect. {i.e. utm_source=Google}.
    1. An example event url would be https://MyEventWithUTMParameters.splashthat.com/?utm_source=Source_Test&utm_medium=Medium_Test&utm_campaign=Name_Test&utm_term=Term_Test&utm_content=Content_Test
  4. You'll then be able to share the full URL with your guest. Once a guest access the page via that link, they'll be able RSVP.
  5. Once they RSVP, the last step is to head to the Event Level Guest List. You will see the parameters given from the URL.
