Can I view UTM Parameters within my Guest List? Follow
UTM Parameters are tags that can be added to your URL to track the source back to Google Analytics. Splash allows you to collect this information by adding a form question and sending out your invites with an updated URL.
With Form Builder, setting up UTM Parameters is as simple as adding a question to a form. That’s because adding UTM_Parameters as a question is all it takes.
- First, open your Form to add this question.
-
Once there, add the UTM Parameter question and select each Source.
-
Now, send your event page with a parameter for each UTM parameter you want to collect. For example, utm_source=Google is the parameter we'll be using.
- An example event URL would be https://MyEventWithUTMParameters.splashthat.com/?utm_source=Source_Test&utm_medium=Medium_Test&utm_campaign=Name_Test&utm_term=Term_Test&utm_content=Content_Test
- You'll then be able to share the full URL with your guest. Once guests access the page via that link, they can RSVP.
- An example event URL would be https://MyEventWithUTMParameters.splashthat.com/?utm_source=Source_Test&utm_medium=Medium_Test&utm_campaign=Name_Test&utm_term=Term_Test&utm_content=Content_Test
- Once they RSVP, the last step is to head to the Event Level Guest List. You will see the parameters given from the URL.
