How do I use Sessions?

New to Sessions? Take a seat, kick back, and let us show you around.

Before we get started, it’s important to understand the guest experience when using Sessions. Guests will RSVP through the event page, the on-page confirmation modal will prompt them to select their sessions, and then they’ll be taken to a separate Sessions Page to register for their sessions.

Here's a visual display of the guest experience:

Sound good? Great! As a reminder, to get started, you’ll first need to consult your Customer Success Manager. They’ll need to grant access to Sessions which unlocks both the Sessions Manager and the branded Sessions themes that you’ll need to use.

First, let’s take a look at your Sessions theme. You’ll find this when going through the Create Event flow:

When you're ready, check out this next article to discover what's included in your Breakouts Branded Theme

Next, create your event from the theme. Notice anything different in your Event Dashboard once everything is set up? We’ll give you a hint.

First, check out the Sessions Manager located in the left-hand event navigation.

This is where all sessions content management will live. We’ll cover more about this later.

For now, let’s head back to the Event Dashboard. The Sessions Page touchpoint will now also appear:

This will direct you to the Sessions Page - the place guests will land after they RSVP to the event.
