How can I edit fonts using custom selectors? Follow
You can edit the font set throughout your page, or edit for a single element.
To change the font for any element on your page:
1. Click into the element you'd like to edit.
2. From the Layout menu on the right, expand the Font options set.
3. Select a font from your font set, so that it's in sync with the rest of your page's design.
Next, you can even get more granular than that with custom selectors.
What's a custom selector?
A custom selector is a way to drill down to a specific element within your element. For example, in a countdown element, you might want the labels (Days, Hours, Minutes, and Seconds) to each be a different font or color than the actual countdown timer. Custom selectors enable this high-level customization!
How to access existing custom selectors:
1. Click into the element you'd like to edit.
2. From the Layout menu on the right, click the dropdown that says "Whole Element:"
3. Select the element that you would like to drill down into
4. Once in a custom selector, you can make edits that will only affect that element.
How to create your own custom selectors:
1. View the event page as a guest
2. Right-click over the element you want to change and select Inspect
3. In the Inspect Tool, right-click and select Copy > Copy Selector
4. Access the event page editor
5. Select the element you wish to style
6. Select the Whole Element dropdown
7. Select Custom Selector
8. Add a name and paste the selector in the second field
9. Save!
Using custom selectors is a great way to make your element really pop!
