You can refund a Guest's purchase via Stripe's Payments tab. Just follow the steps below to accomplish this:
- Navigate to your Stripe Merchant Dashboard
- Find the charge to be refunded in the payments overview page
- Click the triple dot icon to the right of the charge - this should reveal a dropdown menu
- Select Refund Charge
- By default, you will issue a full refund. For a partial refund, enter a different amount to be refunded.
- Click Refund
Full and partial refunds can also still be issued from Splash's RSVP tab. You can find directions on completing that here. We will keep your transaction information consistent in both places!
*Note: Whether issuing a full or partial refund, Stripe's processing fee will not be refunded.
*Important Note: For the optimal guest experience, keep Stripe refund emails turned off. Splash will send refund emails on your behalf!
