How do I link to specific parts of my event page? Follow
Splash's Navigation blocks allows you to direct people to different parts of your page with a simple click of a button! Check out the different navigation options in our Block Library, shown below.
Then, open the nav element by hovering over the block and pressing edit. From there, you will have the ability to choose what parts of the page each section of the nav bar links to, and add as many sections as you like:
Generating Unique URLs to different parts of the page (only for advanced users):
While there is not a DIY way to create a URL for a specific block in the tool, it is possible using the Inspector. Quick note that this is a more advanced Splash move, so we recommend only moving forward if you're comfortable using the Inspector.
Here are the steps you can follow to do this:
- Click the block that you want the URL.
- Click Inspect on the block.
- Find the id beginning with g.
- Use that g code at the end of the URL.
Check it out in action:
The format of the new URL should be https://URL.com/#g-code, so for example https://toolstobegreatseminar.splashthat.com/#g-279501852. You can use this URL to link to buttons on your page or in emails.
Heads up! This method only works when using the default URL for your event page, and it can't be applied to vanity URLs. Using this format with the .splashthat.com domain of your event will still work, but be aware that it will be visible for guests in their browser.
