This feature is available to Pro and Enterprise plans
Roles available: Builder and Host
This feature is in General Availability |
Your in-person session will follow the Virtual Event session setup.
A few differences exist between the virtual sessions and the in-session selections, highlighted below.
Note: If you see a different layout and experience in previous sessions, this is likely our legacy Sessions offering, which will be sunset. You will have the new Sessions experience when you duplicate the event page. |

|
You have the option to add up to six speakers to a session. Enter the speaker’s first name, name, last name, bio, title, and company. Click the icon to upload a speaker image from your desktop.
From the Session Organization section, input one or multiple tags for your sessions by entering the name of the tag then clicking enter. You are able to add up to 4 tags per session.
Tags are used to categorize sessions. These categories might include:
- Audience: If you are running multiple sessions at the same time — each catered to a different audience — consider using tags like “Design” or “Engineering” to classify them.
- Format: If your event begins (or ends) with sessions where all attendees should gather together, use a tag like “Main Session” or “Networking.”
Attendees can filter by tags on the Agenda Page to understand which content is most relevant to them. Click Save to save the information.
Checking guests into sessions
To check guests into Sessions via the Host app, first be sure that you have selected the Sessions tab. This tab will list all unique Sessions and includes individual session titles, dates, times, and guest numbers to help streamline the check-in process.
Select the Session you'd like to check in guests for by clicking on the Session name. From here, you'll be taken to the Session's guest list:
Swipe right on the guest's name to check them into the Session or click into the contact card and hit "Check In Guest."
Sessions Check-In Options
At the bottom of the Sessions guest list you'll find a check-in bar along with three icons. These are conveniently placed to help make managing your guest list easier during the check-in process.
- This is where the percentage of guests checked into the session will be tracked.
- The magnifying glass can be used to search for a guest within the session.
- The plus sign allows for guests to be manually added to the session. This is particularly helpful if there is extra capacity in a session and a guest would like to attend at the last minute.
- On the bottom right is a QR scanner where you can scan a guests unique QR code. This can be used when checking into the main event, or individual sessions.
