The setup of the Guidebook integration consists of two parts: configuring the Guidebook integration in your Splash organization and connecting your Splash event to Guidebook. Both sections will need to be completed for the integration to run successfully.

Before you begin

To set up the integration, you'll need the following:

• A role in Splash that can create and modify events.
• Integration access in Splash.
• Have a Splash organization ID already created.
• An Organization ID from Guidebook. The Organization ID is the string of numbers in the URL once you are in your Guidebook account.
• Guidebook licenses purchased from Splash.

Get set up in Splash

1. While logged into your Splash account, select Integrations in the left-hand navigation panel.
2. Click the New Integration button.
3. Click Choose under the Guidebook integration option.
4. The Guidebook configuration screen will automatically open.
5. Enter your Guidebook Organization ID in the Guidebook organization Id * field.
6. Click Save.
   
7. Continue by creating an event in Splash.

Create an event in Splash

1. Create your event in Splash.
2. From your Event Overview page in Splash, go to Settings on the left-hand navigation panel.
3. Select Create on the Guidebook integration row.
   Once connected the event information is passed over and a Guide is created in the Guidebook platform.
4. Log into Guidebook to make sure the Guide was created for your Splash event.
   These steps must be performed for every event you want to have a Guide created for a Splash event.
   
5. Continue by setting up the guide in Guidebook.

Get set up in Guidebook

1. Log in to your Guidebook account.

2. Locate the Splash event under Build new guides in your Guidebook organization.

3. Build the guide. Add branding, speakers, sessions, sponsors, and other relevant functionalities to include in your guide.

When complete, publish the guide. If you publish a guide through Guidebook or with Splash’s branded app you will follow the standard approval process. If you publish a White-Label Branded App, follow the review process with the Apple or Google Play stores.
