How do I view my event page analytics? Follow
Learn more about how your event is resonating with your audience by monitoring your event's analytics. How many people are visiting your event page vs how many you've invited? Are they RSVPing and adding the event to their calendars?
To view an event's analytics, go to the event page and select the Analytics tab in the toolbar on the left.
In Analytics, you can view the aggregate and daily number of page views to your site, and information on the number of invited guests, RSVPs, and checked-in guests. You can also see the number of times the event has been added to guests' calendars, which gives you more insight into your guests and their intentions to attend.
Warning: GA3 (Google Universal Analytics) was replaced by GA4 and Google will deprecate GA3 on July 1, 2024. As a result, Splash has updated reporting dashboards and event page analytics to GA4. Data collected before June 2023 will no longer be available in Splash. If you need GA data before June 2023, let us know the affected events and we can provide an export file. This is a reminder that an export file will be provided only for events where the analytics tab for that event has been accessed and viewed in the past. |
Notes:
|
If your event is marked as TBD, analytics will continuously update. To stop analytics for a TBD event, uncheck the TBD box in your Event Settings and enter a start or end date.
To continue collecting analytics after an event has ended, set the event date in the future or mark the date and time as TBD. Analytics will start populating again within 24-48 hours. If you need help collecting analytics past an event's end date, submit a case to our team, and we'll help.
Note: Using a custom Google Analytics snippet may override Splash's ability to track analytics for a given event page. |
You can export analytics for your event on a .csv format by clicking on the "Export" button available there.
To view analytics across all of your events, go to your Events Dashboard and select the Reporting tab in the toolbar on the left.
If you want to set up a custom dashboard, contact your Customer Success Manager to create one.
Analytics are currently available with a paid Splash plan.
