How can I change the number of speakers or sponsors in a row? Follow
If you want to change the number of repeatables - speakers, sponsors, lists, schedules, etc. - in a row, the 100% rule will get you there.
The concept is rooted in simple math: Make sure the width of each speaker (or repeatable) on your line adds up to 100%.
So if you want four speakers in a row, make sure each speaker card (or repeatable) has a width of 25%, if you want three speakers to appear then the width should be increased to 33.3%, and so on.
Where you want to pay extra attention to is any margin, or additional space added to separate speaker cards, that you may need to factor in. Watch this video to see it in action:
- Open the block with the repeatable element, then locate the container housing the repeatable.
- Click on the Open Master Card button.
- Open the Width, Height dropdown to edit the width of the each repeatable. Choose from pre-set options or type in a custom width.
- Make sure to factor in any margin set in the Margin, Padding dropdown.
Pro tip: Percentage or REM units work best across multiple screens and platforms.
