What is the difference between Designer and Designer Pro? Follow
In Designer mode, you’ll be working within the safe space of pre-approved templates for your brand, so swapping out images and copy will be a breeze.
Designer Pro mode, however, is perfect for a team’s designer or power user because it offers much more sophisticated, detailed design control. Designer Pro users will need additional education through our free online training courses.
Take a look at the chart below. This is how we breakdown the two modes into three main categories: Theme, Structure, and Style:
Designer Mode
In Designer mode, you're able to build your event page from content blocks crafted by Splash designers. Designer mode is best for team members who'll need the freedom to adjust content on the page, but don't have the more advanced knack required to alter the material structure of a page's layout or reinvent its aesthetic composition.
Designer mode users can:
Theme
- Select from pre-set color sets
- Select from pre-set font sets
Structure
- Edit text on the page
- Edit imagery on the page
- Re-format Date & Venue Elements
- Add, hide, reorder and rename content blocks
- Hide, reorder and rename elements
Style
- Edit the background of elements and blocks
- Edit the font, alignment, size, color, spacing, and title-casing of text
- Edit the border (radius, color, and thickness) of elements and blocks
- Embed video content
Designer Pro Mode
With Designer Pro, you have complete control. You're able to upload your own fonts, colors, and logos to ensure a meticulously on-brand experience. You can also build your own content blocks and fully remix Splash themes without restriction. You can convert your design to templates — we call them "themes" — so your masterstroke can be leveraged across users and teams (read: scaling!). No code required.
