How will my tickets appear on my guests' credit card statements?

We all have that moment when you panic seeing something unfamiliar on your credit card, like the time we got gas in Virginia on a road trip or spontaneously bought tickets to a show.

To prevent your guests from experiencing amnesia and reporting their ticket purchases as fraud, we recommend making your purchase descriptor undeniably clear. When your guests report fraud charges, the money is deducted from your total payout.

When setting up your payout method, you have the option to add an event description to ensure that your attendees will recognize the purchase on their credit card statements. The default descriptor will say TIX*EVENTTITLE or

1. Head to the Tickets tab on your page's toolbar.

2. Click into the Payouts section.

3. Edit the descriptor name by clicking edit and then save!
