Adding QR Codes to Emails Follow
Hosts can attach QR codes or add them to the body of any email sent in Splash - not just confirmation emails.
This feature is available to Basic, Pro, and Enterprise plans |
|
Roles available: Admin, Admin (Basic), Group Manager, Creative Specialist, Event Organizer, Integrations Specialist, and On-Site Specialist | |
This feature is in General Availability |
Any time you create a new email in Splash, you'll have the option to attach or add a unique QR code for attending guests. The QR code can also be added or attached to email templates and automatically be applied on new emails created from those templates.
The QR code, whether in the body of the email or attached, will only be sent to guests with an Attending or Checked In status.
Pro Tip: Add or attach QR codes to your reminder and day-of emails so guests have them handy during check-in. Both can be used on the same email. |
Adding QR Codes to the body of an email
- In the Design stage of an email, click to add an element
- Select "QR Code"
- Style and customize as desired, and click Save
- Send or schedule your email
Note: The sample QR code you see when editing emails will populate when sending test emails. |
Attaching QR Codes as PDFs
- In the Design stage of an email, select “Attach QR Code”
- Click Save
- In the Review stage, ensure the QR code is attached
- Send or schedule the email
Guests will receive their unique QR code as an attachment, which can be used to check in through the Splash Host app.
