If your hub, or Splash events calendar, includes a large number of events, you may want to consider taking advantage of our search and show more features.

Pro Tip: Make sure you know the ropes when it comes to setting up your hub before you dive into adding extra hub features!

Hub search bar

To add a simple search bar to your hub:

1. From the layout tree, locate your Hub Block.
2. Click to add a new element to the block.
3. Select the Hub folder then select the Search Bar element.
4. From the righthand side layout tree, drag the search bar to the top of the Hub block.

Show More button

Is your Hub chock full of events? Use our Show More Button element to allow visitors to click to see more events (rather than overwhelming them with an indefinite scroll).

1. From the layout tree, locate your Hub Block.
2. Click to add a new element to the block.
3. Select the Hub folder then select the Show More element.

Important to note: The Show More Button is directly related to the maximum number of events you've designated to appear in your Hub Management center.

For example, let's say you have 5 events in total on your hub, and you've set the Maximum Number of Events to 5 (or any number greater). When you go to add the Show More Button element, you'll receive a warning message to set a lower maximum number of events.

Show fewer button

To style the Show More and Show Fewer button states:

1. From the righthand side layout tree, find the Show More button.
2. Toggle between Show More and Show Fewer.
3. Style each state accordingly.
