Why does my account need to be verified before I use the Email Sender or Confirmations?

Trust us - we wish we could return to simpler times!

All free Splash accounts must be verified before the below features are granted:

  • Sending emails
  • Purchasing additional email credits
  • Editing confirmation emails
  • Send confirmations from the Guest List

Maintaining a high reputation as an email sending service is crucial for delivering emails to your guests' primary inbox. In order to maintain that level of service, we have to ward off people who may abuse our platform. Spam is no joke.

To access these features, you'll need two verifications: by Splash and by email.

1. Request Splash Verification

To gain access to send emails through Splash, you'll need to request access to verify your account. 

  1. Request access here: http://requestemailaccess.splashthat.com/
  2. Include information about you and your event needs
  3. Follow up with a request to our Support team

If you received the below notification when attempting to purchase additional email credits, our team has already been notified and will reach out once you've been approved.

A Note from Support

We promise to do everything we can to verify you as quickly as possible. We know how important your events are and we know the invitation process is time sensitive. 

If you have any questions whatsoever — or if you have an Enterprise account which does not require the extra verification — please shoot us a quick line. We'll get right back to you.

Also, please keep in mind that any attempt to purchase email credits before verification will be declined and will not automatically go through upon verification. Once you have been verified, you can repeat the steps and you should have no problems making the purchase!

2. Verify Email Address

To verify your Splash account's email address:

  1. Go to your Account Settings page.
  2. Trigger the verification email to the email address listed on your Splash account.
  3. From your inbox, click on the hyperlink in your email to verify your identity at any time.

Sending Emails

Once your account has been verified, you may be asking “what’s next?” Once verified, each event page you create includes 50 free email credits that can be used to email your guests.

To purchase additional credits, estimate the credits you need based on the number of emails you'll be sending to guests. Essentially, 1 email credit = 1 email sent to 1 recipient.

In the Email tab of your event, each email you send will be tracked and display the remaining amount:

Click Get More button to purchase credits at anytime.
